I'm Crystal Manning, a passionate crochet artist, graphic designer, and illustrator hailing from the vibrant city of Houston, Texas.
My journey with art began when I was just three years old. My mom, looking to keep me busy during her bowling league practices, handed me a pencil and drew circles all over a page and showed me how to make faces, that quickly evolved into people, and I've been creating ever since. Over the years, I've explored various mediums, but my love for visual art has remained constant.
In June 2023, I discovered the joy of crochet and have been self-taught ever since. Crochet quickly became a new way for me to express my creativity, allowing me to blend my love for texture, color, and design into one craft.
By day, I work as an insurance agent, but my true passion lies in the arts. Whether I'm sketching a new illustration, designing a graphic, or working on my latest crochet piece, I'm always creating something new.
